Visit to Poland of the Head of the Department of National Security of Romania

On November 5-7, 2019, Mr. Ion Oprișor, Presidential Adviser, Head of the Department of National Security of Romania, visited Poland.

The official program included discussions with Mr. Jacek Czaputowicz, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland, Mr. Mariusz Błaszczak, Minister of National Defense, and with Mr. Paweł Soloch, Head of the Office for National Security, . Also, the Romanian official had meetings with Romanian and allied military within the NATO battle-group in Orzysz.
The discussions highlighted the high level of cooperation between Romania and Poland in the field of security and defense. It was also noted the increased potential of the multilateral collaboration formats, supported by the two countries, in ensuring the regional economic stability and development.
